On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at about 8:38 p.m., officers went to the Yuma Regional Medical Center in response to reports of two people who had been shot.
The two victims, a 35-year-old woman and a 34-year-old male were found shot inside a parked car after a shooting at the area of the 2400 Block of Yowell Court, according to police.
Officer Christina Fernandez, a spokeswoman for the Yuma Police Department, stated that the male was treated and later discharged while the woman was declared dead at the hospital. Read More...
